Message from the Head

Peg Hulse - HeadteacherAt Dr Challoner's High School everyone can be successful. We want to enable every girl here to achieve her potential. From day one we work together towards a shared ambition – personal fulfilment. We recognise that every pupil has her own goals and we aim to help each individual to aspire to those goals – whatever they are.

We place a high value on the positive and supportive relationships achieved in and out of lessons. Teaching and learning go hand in hand, and our outstanding academic reputation is built on happy and purposeful team work. It is vital that students learn how to love learning and Challoner's is committed to ensuring that girls develop confidence and independence in managing their studies and activities.

Message from the Head Girl

Head Girl - Emily North I’m so honoured to be the new Head Girl at Dr Challoner’s, the school has an amazing reputation for being not only high-achieving, but a friendly and fun place to learn. I intend to maintain this with the help of our fantastic prefect team. I feel that it is essential that each student feels appreciated and feels like their opinion counts, and my main aim as Head Girl is to make sure students feel they can voice their opinions, and have the support from both teachers and other students so that they can make their ideas count.School is there for the enjoyment of learning and I feel this is the most crucial consideration with every development the school makes. I aim to help make Dr Challoner’s a place that provides opportunities, so that everyone enjoys their time here and the support for students is there for them to make a conscious effort to be independent in both their work and other activities they may want to pursue. I look forward to my time as Head Girl and putting my ideas in action.
