MESSAGE FROM THE HEAD

Dr Challoner’s High School is a thriving and vibrant community, with a      superb reputation for academic success. We provide a happy, caring and   purposeful environment in which every girl can seek personal fulfilment of their many and varied goals. We recognise that learning is inherently joyful and liberating, so we seek to foster an enduring love of learning. 

As our world changes at an exponential rate, there is a pressing need to learn throughout life. At Challoner’s, we believe that we have a responsibility to ensure that girls are empowered with the skills and attributes to thrive in the 21^st century - to support their developing curiosity, courage, imagination and enthusiasm for innovation.  Positive and supportive relationships lie at the heart of this ambition and together we dare to imagine that there are no ceilings to success.

Message from the Head Girl

Hi, I’m Charlie Gleadle and it’s an honour to be the Head Girl of Dr Challoner’s High School.  Before applying to Challoner’s I visited the school on an open day and (although it sounds cliché) from that moment I knew it was where I wanted to go to. Dr Challoner’s is known for outstanding academic results and, although it deserves this title, it is not all it should be known for.   It supports both students and parents through the difficult task of growing up and therefore it should be credited for providing students with sound morals and a mature outlook on life. 

As a younger student in the school, I never thought I would be in such a position of responsibility and I look forward to taking full advantage of the opportunity I have been given.  Throughout the coming year, the entire prefect team and I will endeavour to continue the legacy made by previous teams and encourage the entire student body to think bigger and aim higher.  

My ultimate goal this year is to ensure every student cherishes and takes full advantage of the opportunities provided by attending Dr Challoner’s, as we all are  fortunate to be surrounded by talented teachers and to be a part of supportive and caring environment.
